I also don’t really agree with how Ally was treated not that she didn't deserve something but I don’t know I just wasn't a fan of that part of everything. I think what parts I didn't like was that there wasn't more New Species around to do like a 101 for him. Obsidian is very much cave man to me, I liked it and I didn't. Honesty is huge to New Species and breaking that trust is going to be catastrophic as Doc Ally finds out. Allison is new to, and she becomes a huge part of this series without us knowing. I will admit to being curious about Obsidian from the past books, though we don’t really understand who he is until this book. I prefer to use my credits on something more expensive and that will leave me feeling satisfied. think about Ali before you use that credit. Story is still worth a listen especially you have invested in the other 7 books.
The story is pretty much the same format, NS finding their mate with a human. social etiquette will go right out the window for Obsidian. Well he has been locked up in a cage for, IDK. is how she is supposed to be a doctor, and she has the hugest language barrier with him. but as soon as he wakes up and she gets to see him again, she gets all "I love you, but I can't be with you".
